SOUTH DAKOTA HALL OF FAME ELECTS NEW BOARD MEMBERS
The South Dakota Hall of Fame board chairman, Randy Houdek, announces the appointments of Marci Burdick of Rapid City, Brian Hagg of Rapid City, Bev Morris of Rapid City, and Denny Everson of Yankton, S.D. to the South Dakota Hall of Fame Board of Directors.
Bev Morris joined Coca-Cola Bottling Company High Country in 2007 and serves as Director of Human Resources. As part of the senior leadership team, Ms. Morris played a key role in the company’s three acquisitions throughout 2014 and 2015. She is the lead Human Resources executive, managing compliance, benefits, employee relations, training & development, and workers’ compensation. Ms. Morris is active in the Black Hills Society for Human Resources Management, for which she has held multiple
board member positions. She holds both the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (CSP) and the Senior Professional of Human Resource Management (SPHR) certifications.
On a personal note, Ms. Morris has two grown children, Brett and his wife Faith, who live in Fort Collins, Colorado, and Amanda (Wermers) and her husband, Ben, who live in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Ms. Morris is involved in community and church organizations in Rapid City and enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exercising, hiking, playing the piano and reading.
